BIOT Reception

Our welcome reception is a great way to get our BIOT community together to kick off our annual meeting. Whether this is your first meeting to build your network or a way for you to reunite with colleagues from years of collaboration, we are always excited to host our members at this event each year.
Professional Headshots
Professional headshots will be available at various times during our 2023 meeting. Costs are covered by BIOT and final headshots will be emailed out within 2 weeks of the conference ending. You can sign up for a 5-min time slot using the link here.
Retouching is additionally available for $20 fee.

Meditation Workshop

Have you ever been curious about meditation? Would you like to be guided through a meditation practice? As you might have heard, meditation has many benefits ranging from relieving stress to improving self-esteem. Dr. Mohit Verma has been practicing meditation for several years and noticed the benefits himself. He has recently shared this practice with his colleagues; they experiences improvements in mental, physical, and emotional wellness. Now, the same workshop is available to you! During this workshop, you will get to experience meditation and find out how it might be relevant to your individual concerns. You will also learn how to mediate on your own at home.
