India Student Chapter: Events

ACS Spring 2025, San Diego, California

We had a great time attending the ACS Spring 2025 in San Diego! 🎉

This has been a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with experts, widen our community and connect with fellow chapters (besides presenting our work XD).

We are proud to bring our chapter to a global platform. This experience has been truly inspiring, and we are eager to bring back new ideas and opportunities to our community. A huge thank you to our members and everyone who supported us on this journey! Looking forward to more engagements in the future. ✨

Journal Club

Science & Free Pizza 🍕 ? Yes, Please!

Our first Journal Club was a huge success. With two exciting discussions—this time on Continuous Biomanufacturing and Multi-Attribute based Manufacturing analysis of Biotherapeutics. Thanks to the student members and our community.

Booth at BPI 2024, Chennai, India

Our chapter could host a booth at BPI 2024, IIT Madras, Chennai. It was an amazing experience, expanding the horizon of our chapter to the curious UGs and connecting with fellow professionals. We could explore the possible collaboration opportunities vital for networking.

Interactive talks and booth at CBT 2024, Delhi India

We had an incredible opportunity to organize a booth at CBT 2024 hosted by the Centre of Excellence Biopharmaceutical Technology, and we’re still buzzing with excitement from all the connections and conversations we had! From chatting with curious students about the ACS & BIOT to connecting with fellow enthusiasts and professionals, this event reminded us what an incredible community this is.

One of the highlights was watching the excitement of undergrads learning how this can support their academic and career journeys. Whether it was sharing resources, giving out our chapter goodies, or welcoming new members, every moment at the booth felt meaningful. We could also host inspiring mentorship and career growth talks that resonated deeply with many of us (soon to be posted). The speakers shared their journeys, practical advice, and insights on building strong professional networks. Their words reminded us how mentorship and career planning are integral to thriving in chemistry—and how ACS plays a vital role in fostering those connections.
