The Bioprocessing Research Excellence Award in Upstream & Downstream Processing (Sponsored by ThermoFisher Scientific) is annually awarded to early career professionals who present outstanding research in the field of bioprocessing within the Division of Biochemical Technology (BIOT) at the ACS National meeting. Starting from this year, two Awards will be presented annually: one for the best oral presentation, and one for the best poster presentation.
Nominations for this award will reopen in 2027.
Please review the following eligibility criteria before applying for the award:
1. The applicant has up to 10 years of total professional experience as of March 2026.
2. The applicant is not currently a student (postdoctoral scholars are welcome to apply).
3. The research work should focus on Upstream & Downstream Processing
