Student Travel Awards

Background

The Division of Biochemical Technology (BIOT) provides travel subsidies of $500 to several students each year to attend the ACS National Meeting and make an oral or poster presentation. The subsidy is intended to encourage ACS student members with limited financial resources to participate in ACS National Meetings. A committee of industrial scientists will select the recipients of the subsidy. Note that this Subsidy is not intended as an “award” or “fellowship”. The list of subsidy recipients will be confidential to the subsidy selection committee and the BIOT Executive Committee.
