This award is open to all early career researchers, including those from academic, industrial, governmental, and non-profit institutions or organizations. Eligible individuals will be independent researchers within 10 years of the completion of their most recent training as of the nomination deadlines. The award consists of $3000, to cover an honorarium and travel expenses to attend the BIOT annual meeting and a commemorative plaque. The award ceremony takes place at the annual ACS meeting for which BIOT chooses to program and includes a presentation by the recipient on their research.
